Great news this month, for Woolyback and other production companies based in the North. Channel 4 has not only opened its new National HQ (creating approx 250 new jobs), but has announced a six-figure development fund, ring-fenced for the regions.
Channel 4 says it will soon launch a new ‘Emerging Indie Fund’ to provide support for independent production companies. The idea is to stimulate new ideas from producers outside London, helping smaller indies to grow.
